Could you imagine Vince Young being caught from behind by a Dlineman. It would never happen. Vince Young was the guy you want to have the ball when your team is down in the title game while Troy Smith just didn't have any kind of spark in the title. The two quaterbacks will never be compared again it is over. How Troy Smith couldn't make any plays was beyond me. Smith was the ESPN poster boy yet he couldn't produce.

Vince Young is a far better QB than Troy Smith, Smith is too short and will not make a dent in the NFL if he gets selected at all.

Smith started for OSU last year. His record, in games played, over the last 3 years is 24-4 and destroyed Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl last year. He is a QB that can run and pass just like Vince Young. At this point last year, Vince Young hadn't won two Rose Bowls, and he didn't have a 30-2 record. BTW, you realize that the team around a QB has a great deal of influence on whether the team wins or loses. You can be a great offense player without winning all your games. It is a valid comparison.

How could this be....???? Vince was snubbed from the Heisman Trophy. So theres the bust right there!
Smith just had a bad game plus there was no denying the Gator front 4!!....it reminded me of the Gang Green Defense of Philly from back in the day!

If you would've told me before the game that one QB wouldn't do well, i'd have bet 100 it would've been Leak.
I would've been wrong.
I knew though Florida would be tough to hold down after watching them play Arkansas- there aren't any superstars but they are solid across the board- add that team mentality to Urban Meyers flawless game plan and preperation, and you have a victory in a big game

I've never heard that comparison...Ive always heard him compared to Dante Culpepper or Randall Cunningham. I thought his O-Line wasn't giving him enough time. And the Gator Defense was out for blood. They were phenomenal....This is only time ive seen him so im not going to judge him from one game. In my opinion as fast as the Gators were coming he didn't have time to do anything.
