ps2 game Black. i need help?

hi i just got a ps2 and iv been playing black but i always have to start over at the beginning everytime i shut it off can someone tell me exactly what to do so when i play i can just start where i was when i left. also on the first level after i break into the building why am i not saposto go in ill wait for hours and nothing happens i usally just go in by my self am i saposto do that. please help

Like the person said below me beat the first stage and you can save it. Most games like this want you to do the things solo. So I would guess you just go into the building and kill everyone. I have not played this game but have played many FPS that make you do things solo.

hi this is the person who asked this question. i do have a memory card. i cant find save after i already started the game. can you tell me exactly where to find it. maybe i did somthing wrong. also why am i not saposto go into the building why do the other people just stand there when i go in. is there somthingim saposto do before i go in. this is the first level the asylum.

Hi there, like you, I got a PS2 with Black for Christmas. I had a hell of a time getting situated with it. Main thing I hate is the long start-up sequences and credits.
Anyways...
You need to create a profile when the game starts up. That will enable the autosave. Also you can save when you finish your mission.
