Knowingly hiring thousands of illegal workers...knowingly stiffing their own employee's on their pay/benefits/breaks...paying employees such pathetic wages in California that employee's qualify for food stamps/welfare(and dumps the burden on the taxpayer(neat accounting trick)), not to mention rubber-stamping the cities of America(the same Home Depot's, Wal-Marts, ad nasuem), which destroys competition(which is NOT capitalism).
I went to Wal-Mart before X-mas to find a coffee grinder...all 4 were "MADE IN CHINA"...no thank you!
Reputation? What does it mean to a corporate entity in 2007...this is NOTHING but lip service!

I worked for that company and everything they say about that place is true. I tried callin in 1 day after working there 5 months to go take my mom to go see her mother about her will and they threw a fit about it. and she ended up dying 2 months later. And also alot of the customers are a bunch of low life scum with horrible additudes. Everything there lasts like 4 months or less like tv's vcr's DVD players, I used to help the customers bring in a bunch of sanyo tv's like 3 to 5 a day because it only worked for 5 min's to 4 months. The customers are also not very bright you will never put a 32 inch tv in a trunk of a cavalier or Ford escort. I could write a 5 inch thick book on this place...

Oh wow..it really is humorous. And that extremely is the type of human beings that come into Wal-Mart. i have been operating there for 2 years and ordinary i'm surprised by way of peoples life-style. i'm stunned that the greeter become courageous adequate to assert that, yet I honestly could grant her credit for status up for herself!!

I agree completely. Why are you still shopping there though? I boycott Walmart. It's only Kroger for me.
