I think that the greatest music artist ever is hands down Michel Jackson, He made "Thriller" but all jokes aside his music was great and he had the largest fans base and no matter what the still love him.

Blink 182. Lame, i comprehend. i become at a CD keep even as i become 11/12 and heard a 'warm' guy tell his chum that Blink 182 'f-ing rocks, dude' so I went over and picked out Cheshire Cat, because i presumed the kitty on the canopy become adorable, and that is what all started it inquisitive about me. heavily. Going to a school the position each of the girls folk were loopy about N'Sync and Backstreet Boys ('omg Justin Timberlake and Nick Carter are soooo warm!!!'), and each of the adult men loved rap and hip hop (and smash dancing)- I extremely did not like all of that. i did not understand why they loved that sh!t, and that i wasn't loved very a lot because of the very shown reality that i did not like what all of us else loved (I loved 80's song, had a brilliant overwhelm on Billy Idol and David Bowie, all attributable to my mom). listening to Cheshire Cat become outstanding. It become compared to at least some thing I had ever heard in the previous. and they, are you waiting for it? They obdurate! *GASPS!* At 11, i did not imagine every person become allowed to cuss in songs, so i become fairly a great deal stunned. I feared i might want to get in trouble with my mom for listening to song with cuss words in it. yet besides... Blink 182 were given me into punk. Then I were given into ska. Then I went by way of a metallic section. Then emo stuff (Texas Is the reason, Sunny Day actual property were all considered 'emo' a lengthy time period lower back; no longer My Chemical Romance) even as being a fan of emo, I were given into hardcore (Poison the nicely; Evergreen Terrace, etc) Now i'm into...nicely, i do not comprehend. Indie, i wager. yet i might want to by no ability have got here upon any of the bands i have loved and prefer now if it wasn't for Blink 182. Fetus- I envy you. even as you had Screeching Weasel as a baby, I had no longer in consumer-friendly words 80's song, yet a good number of Air grant. plenty is an underestimation. My mom become smitten by them.

not possible to say. too many genres etc. how do you compare presley, sinatra, callas, nero (said to be a good singer!),garland etc.. best you can probably do is select a top 5 from specified genres. you will then get a clearer overall picture and could then maybe narrow it down from that to one overall "GREATEST"
My very own favourite is "billy fury" from the uk in the50's onwards
