BCS Championship... Ohio State lost 41 - 14.. Where did we go wrong? Was it because Ted Ginn Jr. got injured in the first quarter after his 93 yard touchard run? Or was it our heisman trophy winner Troy Smith through interceptions, fumbles, and strait up bad passes? Anthany Gonzalez didn't do anything to help the team. And Antanio Pittman was at shock when you didn't run over 100 yards. But, is the answer in the defence? Did James L. not play his hardest, or was it just the whole teams fault all together?
I'm from Ohio, and I must say... I'm dissapointed..

Every team is capable of having a game where nothing goes right. Timing is off, blocking is bad, and nothing feels right. I'm not taking anything away from Florida their athleticism and play calling was far too much for my Bucks last night. But, their hands were cold, 51 days off. I thought the coaching was terrible, Tress is usually so good. The DB's were giving too much space to Florida's WR's the could throw for a first down any time they needed right over the middle. I still say OSU would beat the gators 4 out of 5 times..... Last night was just one of those nights were everything was bad for the bucks and everything was lined up perfect for the gators. Take away a few BS ball spots for Florida, and a few incredibly stupid penalties, I think it would of been a very different game.
What was Tress thinking on that 4th and 1????
Go Bucks!

I am an avid LSU fan and I was shocked by what I saw last night. I expected Florida to win but not by much. The reasons are twofold. One, Meyer would develop a good game plan for Leak and Tebow. Secondly, the defense was rested after getting beat up marching through the SEC.
Everyone knows the SEC prides itself on fast and hard-hitting defenses. However, OSU did not have a game plan to match their opponent. It's as if they were overconfident and what about halftime adjustments. I didn't see anything different in the second half on OSU's side of the ball.
So, I would say OSU was badly out-coached and the players were not ready for prime-time. Now how that happens in a championship game I'll never know when you are favored to win by 7 to 8 points.

The problem was the big ten was not very good this year so as OSU destroyed the big ten teams you built up a false sense of invincibility. Nobody on OSU schedule even compared to Florida.
Also I think Tressel did not game plan well. He should have seen that Florida was much faster and should have had a plan that tried to compensate for the difference. He should have run the ball more to slow the game down and let his offense wear out Florida.

51 days off and the other team has the equal talent and just as much time to prepare for the biggest game of the season and then they were being told they didn't have a chance... Bulliten Board material. Nuff Said

It was a disappointing loss - and I'm a Michigan fan. We're taking a beating on everything here in the midwest (economy, education, health care, job loss...). At least the Big 10 actually graduates its football players ;-)

Personally, I'm kind of glad they lost. I live in columbus and all you hear is Buckeyes Buckeyes...Everyone walks around with their buc shirts on and those stupid buckeye necklaces and half of them probably don't even watch them play! Most Buckeye fans are fair weather fans. If the Bucks had a losing season the "fans" wouldn't be so enthusiastic.

The simple fact of the matter is that you have not played ANYBODY all year long. OSU was not that good of a football team, admit it. Troy Smith is a complete fraud, and will not be drafted, even in the 7th round.

I still can't believe it. The only course of action is to be a bitter **** about it and say mean and hurtful things to strangers on the internet. It's helping me cope.
