Have you ever answered a question on this site and when you go back to read up on other answers, you find that the person who asked the question has added information to his post that bashes your answer? No big deal..... People are entitled to their opinions.
But then you find out that the person who asked the question chose your answer as the best one! I've had this happen to me several times and I can't figure out why. And they give me 1 star for my answer! I mean, I appreciate the points, but "why?" LOL

Is the person voting for you, or are you chosen by voters? A lot of my sarcastic answers are voted best answer by voters, rarely by the asker. And yes, I've encountered those narrow-minded, pathetic people who think that if you disagree with them, then you are not worthy of living on the same planet with them.

Hey, I wouldn't complain or take it too seriously. They were probably just in a bad mood. That's funny, because when I first joined here, I have had the exact opposite happen. I asked a couple work questions, they weren't rude or nasty, just questions concerning problems I was having on the job and it was directed towards people that do the same kind of work I do. Well, I did not get any responses from them but instead from other people who just didn't have a clue, but thought they did. Boy, they fired back at me, almost trying to make me look stupid. And then, I was stupid enough to give them a best answer because I didn't know any better. It turned into a 'tit for tat' as then I had to give them back a comment of my own.

No, nothing like this has happened to me so far, and I have no idea why anyone would do that to you. Maybe you should just ask them. Sent them an email and tell them you are confused by their answer. If you cannot do that for some reason, just let it go and do not answer any more of this person's questions.. who knows why some people do the things they do.. could have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed.. Yes I've seen this, (not with my own answers though.)
Best I can figure is that even though they had some negative feedback for you, yours turns out to be the best out of the others that were even worse (in the askers opinion) Does this sound like "who's on first?"

Yes, and I've also had people who act like I'm a freakin idiot just because I ask a question that I honestly don't know the answer to. This site is for asking questions and people act like you're so stupid for asking a question. There are also so many snobs on here who think they know everything.
