the biggest STORY was Zidane's headbutt.. unfortunately this got in the way of actually CONGRATULATING the Italians on their victory. Not enough emphasis was placed on Italys win.

I'd say the head-butt. But then again, the entire World Cup was a complete story in itself. Except there were all guys. But the dirty Italian team didn't care and decided to be actresses and turned gay!!! So the story ended like a fairytale, for them Italians that is...!
