help! My dark red corduroy couch has little white pieces of fabric all over the seats. I don't think it's actual pills from the fabric but little pieces of other fabric stuck to the couch, and they won't come off with duct tape or a lint roller. What can I do to take them off? I want my couch to last for a long time :(

Try a bic razor. (disposible shaver) Shave them off gently. I used to do this with expensive wool sweaters after a year or so.

Try the fabric shavers. They look like a really cheap child's version of an electric shaver. You can usually buy them at Wal-Mart or another store similar to that or you can buy them online just search fabric shavers. They will cut the white pills off without hurting the fabric of the couch. I use them for clothes that collect pills and they work great. It may just take you a long time to go over the whole couch.

Buy a lint shaver. They come in sizes. One for sweaters and clothing and one for blankets. I think the difference is the size of the holes in the head of it. They work great. It takes a while but the end results is well worth it.

I once bought at Kmart a battery operated "pill remover" - that could be used for sweaters, couch's etc...it almost looked like an electric shaver, with a plastic container that you then dumped out. Worked like a charm...Good luck

go to the drug store and buy a cheap razor, for shaving, one without a moisturizing strip like a traditional bic. go over your couch gently with the razor and the pills should come right off.

They make rollers specifically for that..it cuts the "pills" off.
Or you could buy a slip cover.

There's this little "shaver" that you buy to use on sweaters. It will work on it. They have them at Walmart, Kmart, wherever.
