Yes it is and there is no need for strong strokes to have a good outcome on the game. People have been destroying their televisions because they either swing too hard or don't use the wrist straps. You just need to see if you can find a demo and try it out yourself. I have one and I love the Wii. It is the best out there I think. Also, you can also send text messages from the Wii, when it is connected to the internet.

1) They already lead sales in America be about a 2:1 average. 2) They probably will win the 2008 console war, there are a lot of awesome (i.e. The Conduit, which will be way better than Halo, Halo 2, or Halo 3) titles out there that WEREN'T featured at E3 or in the Nintendo Conference. 3) HD graphics would be sweet. 4) The Wii already has Motion-Sensitive Controllers... Yes it is, You can put very minute differences of spin on the ball in bowling. And the way you hold your hand makes a big difference in the 3-4 different types of shots in the tennis game. To get a good idea of how sensitive it is when you get it. Play the boxing game to see the gloves move independantly.

YES! It is amazing. I play "real" tennis- and cannot believe the accuracy of the controller on the Wii. I feel like it provides actual practice!!!!
Buy one- it is sooo worth the 250 dollars compared to other systems!

I would say yes. You can even curve the bowling ball like in real life. But if you go into the setting you can make it even more sensitive or make it less. Either way you will have alot of fun with it.

sensitivity can vary greatly but by default it is quite sensitive in all three axis (sp?) experiment with it to get the sensitivity you want people who over exaggerate their movements do so because they get caught up in the game not because the controller is unresponsive

no the controller is not that sensitive it reads things very slowly so if you want my opinion you should wait until Nintendo works the bugs out of the system
