I think it's usually like $70, but last month it was like $140 and I'm not sure why. I think it might be text messages. I think I set them up wrong and they're routing through some weird satellite or something. Seriously.
I don't use too many minutes. I'm on cingular. But after last months bill I'm thinking of switching to T-mobile, which my brother uses. It's $40 flat fee per month and you get unlimited long-distance and text messages I THINK (pretty sure). The only downside has been that it doesn't work everywhere, but I believe they are building more and more towers and I've heard that their coverage has been increasing a lot. But since I barely travel in the U.S. that probably wouldn't matter to me anyway.

$200 a month with Alltel. We have 4 cell phones, 2 landlines (with Bellsouth). All the features...web, unlimited texting, picture sending. I think the 4 phones share 1500 minutes, but we have mobile to mobile and the My Circle. Our calling area is slightly limited though, that's the only prob I have.

I'm on a family plan with my fiance... together our bill comes to about $70-$75 on average!
We use about 300 minutes combined (but we do have mobile-to-mobile unlimited so that helps).
We never even come close to hitting our limit of 1000 minutes.
T-mobile is the provider.
and we have 1000 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends, unlimited text messaging, and mobile to mobile. that's our basic monthly plan!

I don't have a land line, and I have t-mobile. My plan has 600 anytime minutes and it's free after 9pm on weekdays and free on the weekends. After all the taxes and fees, my bill is $54 a month.
It's a good plan for me, since I don't talk on the phone that much (compared to others)
