For the moment take very warm and raincoats/ boots with you.
It's not the tropics overthere.
Trains /buses are expensive in UK.

I live only a few miles from there. It is freezing cold, so you need warm jumpers and thick coats.
There are pubs, this is bars that sell alcohol. Then there is bowling, cinemas, night clubs, that is a place where one goes to dance and to drink alcohol.
Or, you can get a freedom ticket for the buses and go travelling, this means you can get on one bus, get off and jump on another with the same ticket.
Lovely shops, but if you want cheaper goods, get on a bus that is going to Northampton, try to go on a Thursday Friday or Saturday, there is a market in Northampton then.
Please do NOT keep your wallet in your back pocket, if carrying a handbag then keep the zip facing you and hag on to it.
Dont go out alone when it gets dark as there is a lot ofcrime, always go in a group of two or more. Only use a taxi that has an official sign on it. Look at the back of it for plate, then you know it is ok.
Join the library on a temporary membership so you can have books to read.

Milton Keynes is actually in England, not near it. Its dark at 4.30pm now, and its raining. But not too cold, but you will need a warm coat, scarf, umberella ect.
