its incredible
especially the first one...its just so ingenius...now they obviously can't be as original as the series progresses, which is why I think they keep getting gorier as we go along....however they are keeping the plot twists clever and unexpected
I can't wait for SAW IV

The Saw franchise has been interesting, and the appeal has not waned according to the box office. However, with anything, people find it hard to follow in the footsteps of the original. Looking at the triology as a whole though, the writer's took us on the whirlwind journey of Jigsaw from the height of his work, to finding a new apprentice, and utlimately to his presumed death. However, the first film will probably always be considered the best simply for the ending, which came out of nowhere!

Honestly, I lost interest after the first one. I think the different traps and such are interesting, but other items, such as the identity of the killer and even where he ended up, were incredibly unbelievable. Just because a movie has great traps and death scenes doesn't mean it can be weak plotwise. Actually, i think it would have been improved by us not knowing who the killer was.

Love them. I have seen 1 & 2 and when 3 comes out in a few weeks, will definately watch it. Kinda gross but good.
