My sister has a stammer, and it is important to let her finish. I am patient. Imagine how frustrating it must be to have a stammer.

Kindly wait for him to continue.. do not interrupt him,, unless he lets you know that he would appreciate your help.. never be embarrassed, he would sense it and it would be harder on him to go on. Just let him know you accept him and love him just the way he is.. like a arm on his shoulder, a smile... a handshake..
Nice Question.. hope I helped.

The only thing you can do is just wait for them to finish. They are aware that they are stuttering and very self-conscious of it. Interrupting would just make them feel worse.

let him go. just relax. It's like talking to a child. You know what they are trying to say, but they will get mad if you don't let them say it. If it takes more than 15 minutes, then you may have a problem.

I would just listen patiently, anything else you might do might make the person feel uncomfortable.
