After a good old laugh and hurling some debrit I think the next obvious step would be to check that no one was in the surrounding area. Upon finding myself and the sheep alone I would then take steps as to set the beast free. This I have discovered is best implimented by grabbing a tight hold upon the horns or around the chin of the sheep with both hands. Then with a thrusting motion (this helps to loosed the sheeps stronghold but also tires it) hurl yourself at the rear of the animal in a repeated motion. The sheep might bleet but i guarantee the sheep will be free! Free from its Virgintity!!!!!! Hahahahhahahahaha!

Depends on following:
1) Is it a good looking sheep?
2) Is anyone else there to help hold it?
3) Will I get caught?

I stopped the car, as it was a good clear road and stopping was allowed. I climbed throught the hedgerow and released the sheep from the barbed wire and lifted him over into the field. Normally I would hate to get dirty but somehow I got stuck in. I was really quite pleased.

My priority would be to free it as soon as I can. (after having done that I'd start hoping the meadow this sheep is supposed to be in, is very nearby, LOL)

Am I carrying protection?
Have I got a believable excuse in the event of getting caught?

To appraise the sheep and to see whether it is worth of eating or freeing.

To stop my bloomin' loopy border terrier from getting his jaws around it's throat.

Or to stop looking, with morbid curiosity, at the farmer tucking it's hind legs into his wellies!...
