I burn a dvd on my computer and go to play it and it says... no ntsc?????? what does that mean?

i have bured alot of cd and it only happens on a few... are they pal?

Yeah, you may be burning in PAL format. In which case you may also be burning the DVD with another region code also. Check the Advanced settings in your burning software for both region coding and video encoding. If you are in N America, you will want region 1

ntsc is the regional coding...your dvd player may require that coding to play....in which case, for some reason, whatever program you're using left that off...I dunno...try a different program

I use about 4 different programs and between them all, I can always get a burn job to work
