I purchased a DVD collection for a Christmas present. The purchase took over 6 weeks to get here. While I was fighting with the company to get my purchase, I did a little research to find out if there was another supplier. During my search I found out that the film has never been released on DVD! I haven't opened the shipment and I want my money back, but I am afraid of sending it back. Am I exposing myself to legal risk by mailing a pirated DVD?

I would keep it. However, if you really feel that uncomfortable about it, call the vendor that you purchased it from and see what their return policy is. They may not let you send it back, especially if it is pirated. Don't worry so much about mailing a pirated DVD...no one is allowed to open your mail.
