I sincerely want to know this, I'm not trying to be rude or anything. I've been curious about this for years. Is it a disease or something?

Seems to me that if you don't eat all that much food, that your stomach wouldn't be that large.

The mucosal cells of their intestines atrophy. There is loss of intestinal enzymes, causing malabsorption. Carbohydrate malabsorption causes the production of gases, with distension. This makes the tummy swell up.

I consider that it's superb . I donate my milk to unwell toddlers in Africa and if I was once there or right here within the equal main issue and the mum did not brain I could. I consider like that at all times of I see a little one crying, hungry ,or unwell I mechanically wish to bf them as a mom could their little one.

They have parasites in their water. And the severe hunger and starvation causes the stomach to swell and throb as a result. Very sad.

The reason they have engorged stomachs is because they fill with air. When you don't put any food into your body the cells over oxygenate and swell.

I believe its not that they have a large stomach, they have a small everything else from being malnourished...so their stomach sticks out
