Cathy it is always like that everyone that actually voted for him all say they didn't.
People would rather have a republican in times of war, they feel safer even if the republicans instigated it.

I voted for him and know of others that voted for him. Asking people isn't a very good method Cathy. It all depends who you ask in what area. I don't think it vindicates him. It's still a very unpopular decision. I think he was re-elected more because the Democrates failed to put up a viable candidate. Kerry offered no real solution to leaving Iraq and was a joke. And I know a few people who voted for Bush because they felt he should clean up his own mess. I know people who voted for Bush because they liked him. And others who voted against him just because they hate him. So I guess I talk to more people than Cathy.

No, I don't believe that winning the last election vindicated Bush with the public for going into Iraq. I believe that his winning the election legally vindicated him to follow through on what his father was doing, regardless of what the true majority opinion was or not. Even more interesting, is to take a further look back into Presidential history and see the connection between Regan and Saddam.

Honestly, sometimes I feel like a pawn....or a sheep.

Do you mean vindicate? And what do you mean win? It was pretty shady to say the least. I don't think there is any vindication here, it's obvious that Geo Bush has had his own agenda for a long time now. Doesnt seem to me the public is supporting him at all.

Cathy C. is absolutely correct...try living in TX and not being a Bush fan...these people around here think he invented ice cream! They seem to think it's more important to have a President from your state than a President who does the right thing.

Definitely not. Most people did not vote this time as the first time was not done legally and everyone is so disgusted with this guy but individually feel we can't do anything but hope the next 2 years go by really fast.

I hope you aren't from this country because if you are, then you are an idiot. No one voted for George Bush Jr. the first time he ran, and no one voted for him the second time. If you don't believe me, walk up to any american and ask them who they voted for. Thank you and GOD bless.
