A kL can be hidden deep in your system files. If you are running a PC with Windows 98SE or later then you can go to the search menu and simply type in key logger. If it does not come up with anything then go to search-all files and folder-include hidden files and folders-and search. It will show you EVERYTHING on your PC. If you see something that don't look right then click on it. Until you determine if there is one WATCH your steps and mind what you look at. A list of commercially available KL's is available on the Internet. Just look for any of them in you PC.

See interior the taskbar (decrease authentic section section the place date is displayed). If there is an icon which looks unknown or with call *logger*, then authentic click on it and disable it. Or Ctrl + Alt + Del, open job supervisor. Make a catalogue of purposes working under consumer call (gadget jobs at the instant are not required). Make a matching record out of your buddy's computing gadget, which does not have key logger. evaluate the lists and enquire with regard to the diversities.

Sorry I don't know how, but my ex did this to me and was reading my emails for about two years without me knowing - the best clue was that he got really sulky when I had either emailed an ex or had slagged him off a bit to one of my friends. I was never unfaithful, or even thought it mind and it just turned him into a nutter - finally figured it out in the end though. So basically - check your wives moods when you write something bad about her :)
Hope she hasn't though

If your marriage has degraded to the point where she is installing a key logger (just what does she suspect you of?) and you are trying to find out if she has (just what are you trying to hide from her?), then what you both really need is marriage counseling.

You eMail me with your address and contact details, I come round and look at your computer and then tell you if you've got a keylogger installed or not! If you live in London then I'll do it for free!
Alternatively, you might want to try downloading a programme called HiJack this, run a search and then send me the results from the search. I'll look through them and tell you if you've got a keylogger or not
Oh yeah and if she has then...I think she'd have seen you typing out this question by now!!
Good luck,
The Techie.

some keyloggers are more difficult to detect
adaware se personal
www.lavasoft.com
get update, reboot and do a full scan
spybot also is a good choice
may want to look in control panel add/remove and see if anything listed there that would indicate a keylogger

check the hardware (like on the back of the keyboard plug), first of all.
Do a Google search (or Yahoo! or whatever you use) for keyloggers or go to Wikipedia and look up keyloggers. Look for the different names of keyloggers and then do a search on your PC for those names.

Dude, just buy another PC (laptop) if you are scared that she is logging your keystrokes. Actually if you want to really get under her skin, reload the OS (after backing up your data) and don't let her know that you are on to her. I hate sneaky people.....
Oh, by the way, why is she so suspicious. Tighten up your game. You don't really have to do your dirt on your shared pc at home, do you?
