Every 3 months for the first year, then after that I took mine every 6 months just to make sure. But if they are healthy and not sick the doctor should tell you. At least once a year after they turn 4.

You need to bring the newborn quite frequetly. Like one week after you bring the baby home. Assuming there are not any illnesses. Then the doctor's office tells you when to make follow-ups. 1 month,2 months, 4 months, 6months, 12 months. Keep the schedule, as you need to get the baby's shots on time.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that you take your baby in for at least nine checkups during the first three years.

1-4 weeks--depending on your baby and your doctor (my doc does a one week for 1st time breastfeeding mom a 2 week for all others)
2 months
4 months
6 months
9 months
12 months
15 months
18 months
24 months
Yearly from 3 years up

infants go every 6-8 weeks until they are about 10 or 12 months then it should be about every year unless they are missing shots then you would need to bring them in occasionally to get them. my son just turned 4 and we found out her was missing shots becuase when we took him it didnt fall in the imuniztion schedule and they have to give them to them on an almost exact timetable

They should go every 3 months in the first year and then once a year after that. Of course if they are sick then they should also go in as needed.

Your baby's doctor will give you a schedule. You need to follow it to be sure your baby gets all his shots on time, and also so that the doctor can monitor your baby's weight gain and growth.
