How is it better?

I think every New Year is better, because we learned something during the previous year, and hopefully can apply what we learned to a better cause in the New Year. To me each New Year is a gift, with each new day bringing with it something to be learned, shared and passed forward.

Happy New Year!

Not better just different. Either its going to be another tough year for the world or for whats in your life.

Or as I like to think each new year eve or day as another chance to have something good going in the world or in my tough life... lol.. :-)

perhaps the year will be better because of certain specific actions. as an example 2006 was fantastic because I retired. this year perhaps there will be one outstanding event which will make 2007 memorable.

The year changing won't change the people. A new year is not better because people are not better. EVER.

No, I think time and the quality of life are independent of each other. Sometimes we get better, sometimes we get worse.

Sometimes life is hard, sometimes rather easy.
