I think it a bit rude to come out howling in opposition before they have even heard what the man has to offer. What kind of message does this partisan style behavior send to our enemies in Iraq and the rest of the world? Whose side do the dems appear to be on here? In what way does this action support our soldiers and military and advance the American cause?

That's a good point. But I think there were enough people involved who also talked to other politicians, that much of the basics of the plan were leaked. So many probably feel they pretty much know what is coming.

Bush has been around long enough for everyone to know by now that his plans are less than mediocre and he is a bumbling fool who needs to buy a dictionary. What other reason would anyone need to attack anything that comes out of his mouth. He presents himself as a lost child. I worry for this country...

He has been in office for six years -- we know his plan.

Besides -- he has already signalled his plan, and it involves more troops.

The American People have told him this plan is wrong. The elected Congress have told him this plan is wrong. His own generals have told him this plan is wrong. Instead of listening, he fired his generals and replaced him with yes-men.

The time for listening to this well accomplished liar is over -- the time to stop him has begun.

You are wrong to confuse the refusal to support the President with refusing to support our troops. Democrats want their safe return. It is the President who has put them in harm's way.
