If you get your phone wet, i suggest taking it apart and drying it as best as possible. You will also want to leave it face down so that any excess water will drain. I have dropped my phone in a sink full of water b-4 and it still worked after I dried it out.

There is a sticker on the inside when you take your battery off and it turns completly pink. Sometimes there's 2. That is how customer service knows it was wet. I knew someone that took the sticker off and then took it back to Verizon and got the phone replaced for free. But I'm not saying you should do that

I've been known to drop a cell phone in water. A friend dropped hers in the toilet (yuck!). After it dried out it worked just fine. Back to normal. But then again, there was minimal exposure to the water so that may have had a lot to do with it.

Turn it off and let it dry out before you turn it back on. If it doesnt work, you can try to take it back to the store, but most phone company's insurance will not cover water damage, so you may have to pay for a whole new phone.

there can be a lot of things wrong like it could not be working no more, goes on and off at the same time, etc. my friend told me that if u need your cell to get dry put it in rice... that helps a lot.
