i am 21 and live in buckingham near milton keynes.i own a house with my partner and would need an income while i train!has anyone done this?and where?and what qualifications did you have to get on the course?i have jus completed NVQ2 Health and Social Care.Does anyone know of any local universities (Buckinghamshire)?

yea you sure can.. that is called internship you jsut don't get that much money as you will get just working...search your local hospitals they will have some oppurtunities.. and if you talk to them by phone it will be better then they will know you really want it.

Though I haven't been successful in finding some myself, there are jobs that will train you to become a CNA while working for their facility or hospital. Perhaps trying to find a nursing facility or Adult day care that will train or try your local Red Cross for training. A close friend even suggested I ask current nurses how to and where for school and work when choosing this career field. Maybe you could do the same. Hope this helps.
