She found that I said I was bi and that my friend was bi. We have only come out to each other and I hope she doesn't say anything to my friend. She thinks I like my friend and I'm worried that she might not let me hang out with her.

If you are concerned that she will say something then you should talk to her about it. It may be a difficult conversation, but it's obviously one that you need to have. She should not have read your diary, she should realize that what you write in there is private, unless she was afraid that you were harming yourself or in danger of some sort, which I hope was not the case.
Explain to her that although you are bisexal it does not mean that you are attracted to everyone. That is a common mistake made by people about bi and homosexuals. It is still considered diviant behavoir by some people who do not understand it. Let her know that you are not attracted to everyone of the same and opposite sex, and that your friend is just that, a friend.
I wish you the best.

well, first of all, try securing your diary. Cant you have your diary in your comp? that way you can password protect it.
Next, maybe you should discuss with your step mom about what she read. That way you would have a better understanding of what her views are on you being bi ( and your friend). She might even be fine with this. So have a heart-to-heart with your step mom. That way your anxieties about what might happen might be resolved. You might also want to talk to your step mom about NOT reading your diary again??? But I do sympathies with you if you do not get along.

All the best in resolving this matter!!

Do you basically get along with her? If so you might want to try talking to her. First about your rights to privacy....she had no right to read you diary.....that's an obvious. If she does feel the need to keep you away from your friend, you may want to talk to your Dad. I don't know how old you are. If you are a minor than you might want to wait and see who you really are before you say or do anything life changing. If not and you are old enough to make your own decisions and she needs to respect that. Good luck

I know that is your step mother and she is only caring for you and your future BUT she violated every right of privacy that you have, reading your diary that is messed up. Now that she is aware of your bisexuality you should just talk to her about how you feel about the whole diary reading thing and if she comments about anything just ask her for advise and understanding instead of running away from it all, then maybe she'll have compassion and wont be so hard on you. Good-Luck

wow
I am sorry to hear that she violated your privacy like that.
Since it is out now, you have to tell her that if she does say something you will feel violated even more. I know that this is hard but suck up and tell her that you are glad that she knows so now she wont have to wonder if she would stop loving you because she found out.
(of course she will deny that she ever would) then tell her that yo uowuld feel it a violation of her love if she told anyone as she as the same feeling about others finding out too.

That should tug at her guilt cortex
What does your dad think of this?

She's either nosy or concerned. Let your friend know then have a real conversation with your step-mom. She may realize you're going through a confusing time and can help or be there for support. Not all step-moms are wicked.

Although you probably didn't really have any kind of choice, I wanted to thank you for choosing me for the best answer. I also wanted to apologize if I offended you in any way for my response to your question. I only meant it as a joke, and that's just the way I am...I joke a little bit then get serious...maybe if i have another question to ask I can return the favor..thanks

so what's the question?

the answer is: tell her that you were confused and that you now realize that you're not bi. Then hide your diary. And don't let her know that you're hanging out with your friend till a few months have gone by.

or, right some fake entries in your diary. Saying that you're not bi anymore and that you really like this hot guy in school named Steve and that he's on the football team, etc.

p.s. you're just kidding yourself that you like women. lesbianism is a cult.

If you are having sex you need to move out. If you are just interested that is one thing but if you are old enough to get it on and pleasure yourself with a partner you and that partner need a place. That will end all the mess.

She read your diary?

OOOOOOHHHH!!!!! That makes me mad!

MANOMANOMAN!!!!!

Listen- don't worry about her anymore. She doesn't respect YOU, so you don't have to respect HER. If she disciplines you, just remember that your life with her is only temporary- soon you'll be able to move out on your own, and you'll never have to put up with her again. Until then, if she has a problem with what you're doing...

keep doing it behind her back.

Why? Well why not? She isn't deserving of your trust, so she isn't deserving of your honesty either.
