Not sure of the woman with the most, but Charles Vance Millar, a wealthy Toronto lawyer, bequeathed his estate to whichever woman gave birth to the most babies in the ten-year period following his death. This was during the Great Depression so a lot of women were trying to have as many children as possible. I think there was a tie between four women, each had 9 children during the 10 years. It was called the Stork Derby.
