As a guy in my office said "That's why the pley the game" meaning that if they hadn't played the game OSU would have been the champions.
Also on the ESPN.com site their front page is Florida not Ohio State, but I do know exactly what you are talking about, but the vicitims even more than Florida is LSU. I couldn't find a good article about LSU's performance against Notre Dame. I could however show you how Brady Quinn's draft status shouldn't be hurt. How Notre Dame's defense has been suspect all year, and how they simply aren't as good as the top teams. How about how LSU or Florida handed an apparently viable opponent an old fashioned whoopin!
I am not going to lie, I though Ohio State was gonna win, but then again I thought Michigan was gonna beat USC too, maybe we should have seen a Michigan vs Ohio State rematch, except in the Capital One Bowl, and leave the BCS for real teams, Wisconsin should have gotten a bid for the Big 10 and heck Iowa, and Penn State looked better than theses 2 no shows!
I am a Michigan fan and we should be apologizing as well as Ohio State, and Notre Dame for the showings that people spent money to watch! I do believe OSU and UofM could have played better, but I believe they both truly undersetimated how good the other teams really were!
Congrats Florida! Even though I thought OSU would win, It is always great to see them look like they did last night (Baffled, lost, and losing)

You are correct in that Florida should be getting a lot more attention for being so dominate both offensively and defensively (especially the latter).
I am an avid LSU fan and I expected Florida to win. However, not by much but a win nonetheless. I based my decision on two things. One Urban Meyer would develop a good game plan for Leak and Tebow. Secondly, the defense would be rested. In the SEC championship game Florida did not substitute on the defensive line because they were all banged up. The sprotswriters knew this and knew the Gators would be healthy coming into this game. So, am I surprised to see a Gator defense that was flying to the ball. H*ll no that is their style and during the season that style of play almost cost them a shot to play in the national championship game.
The media is so full of sh*t it's not even funny. I will be surprised if Florida is not Number 1 in the preseason rankings. I mean they have a young team and with Tebow they are going to be h*ll to play against. That's what we should be hearing right now in that folks tighten your chin straps because the Gators are not backing down.

Ohio State were supposed to be the darlings of college football this season, undefeated, ranked #1 all season, but they had a weak schedule with the exception of a few teams. Florida played the tougher teams and like I said before, this Ohio State team would ony be a mediocre team if they were in the SEC. They were just outplayed and out coached.

Yes!!! Florida won and everybody should be happy for them, they were the underdog, came in and showed OSU who is who. Florida deserves more attention than they are getting.

SayWhat,
No matter what people say, cry, whine, or write about. At the end of the day, the Gators were this year's Nat'l Champs and Nothing or No One can ever take that away.

YES! Everyone keeps talking about why they lost, no one will admit that maybe they were wrong THE WHOLE TIME! "Offense looks sluggish?" Maybe they've always played that way, they just LOOKED faster compared to other teams.
