I have been researching this for a while now. I cannot seem to find a really good air purifier that is not very bulky, yet can accomodate 320 sq foot room and has good quality. For example, Whirlpool's air purifiers seem to have great reviews. For they only have models for 450 and 500 sq feet room and they are very bulky. I see many tower models, but they are mostly small (for rooms less than 200 sq feet). Please help. Thanks.

The best air purifier for smaller areas is the Fresh Air to Go by ecoquest. They have university testing proving the effectiveness and they are also certified by NASA as the same technology used in the space program to clean the air in the space shuttle and space stations. This unit is very small and portable and can be used in your car, office, single room, etc. I personally have the larger unit in my home and it works great. They are redesigning this particular model which is coming out in the spring of 07 so I would wait for the upgrade. You can get more information here.

For those measurements, it rather is not proper what the top of your room is. The length is in sq. feet, this is length x width (the floor component of the room). i might think of that the producer might anticipate a room top of 8 feet, when you consider that this is the same old top for many properties. when you consider that your partitions are purely 7 feet tall (desire your infant does not enhance as much as be a basketball participant!), i might think of that the purifiers might paintings over a marginally better section (approximately 2500 squarefeet). previously going forward, i might do 2 issues: double-examine the producer's numbers (in the event that they are in CUBIC feet, then as in the previous posters have suggested, 2200 cubic feet covers a 16x16 room), and degree the partitions (i will wager they are 8 feet tall).
