Ural Mountains!
Geographically this range marks the northern part of the (arbitrary) border between Asian and European sections.
The Urals extend 2,500 km from the Kazakh steppes along the northern border of Kazakhstan to the coast of the Arctic ocean. The island of Novaya Zemlya forms a further continuation of the chain.
Well a point to be noted that its quite approximate !

You sound like a struggling Deist. Or a Deist struggling to emerge. This may help. There is a glyph in Kabbalistic Judaism, which is also used by some Gnostic Christians (see the link below). At the top or the crown is the undifferentiated divine, called Keter, as you go down the glyph--called the Tree of Life or Jacob's Ladder--divinity becomes more differentiated finally to the universe we see manifested today. Granted, it is written in the language of mystical Judaism, but don't let that be a show stopper. It may help you grasp what Jesus (Rabbi Yeshua) was trying to get across. Yet, none of this contradicts our understanding of science. It just enriches the human portion of the greater whole. Shalom and Namaste.
