HAHAHA!!! Excellent question! The reason for this little statement being true is the fact that men do not dig so deep into details. Women are considered smarter than men because they get a question with all the details right. However, the guy generalizes, and is often right in his generalization. Good luck with all the angry women out there.

They are not. Intellect and smart are not gender oriented, nor are they one and the same.
Women have the intelligence to keep quiet about the truth, proving the pragmatic woman smarter than the vocal overtures of the male. When a woman chooses to be contrary, she has basically negated her 'smarts." Every male has a mother: So goes woman, so goes the World.
It is much like that paradoxical maxim: "The true leader is a servant."
All contented marriages are controlled by the woman who has the intelligence not to control; she controls without controlling. What more can be asked of Life than to be content and live in harmony.
So, good ole BS or worthy of a B.A. thesis?

Sorry, but they're not. Studies have shown that women are actually more productive in almost every field, and are rapidly catching up to men in fields where they aren't.
