Diet and lifestyle can affect PMS. Aim for a diet with plenty of fresh fruit and veges, cut down on salt (causes water retention) and sugar (which make ur blood glucose levels swing and affect energy levels), caffeine and alcohol both cause mood swings. Eat more fish and drink plenty of water. Supplements of vitamin B6 ad evening primrose oil can help relieve it.
Dont smoke it makes it worse
excersise a lot even though u dont want to 30 mins 3 times a week

If all else fails, the contraceptive pill is an alternative cos it helps regulate ur hormones and can reduce these symptoms u pose

Dark chocolate, the darkest you can go. Get some Lindt 70% cacao. It's a little more expensive than normal but it will kill those mood swings. Just try to stay away from people that you don't want to hurt for now until you feel better because you can only cause damage during this time of the month. It happens to all of us.

oh my gosh is your name trinity? that's my baby cousin's name and I havent heard anyone else with it...that'd be cool.

anyway, some months is worse than others. if this is a pattern you might want to talk to your doc...but sometimes nothing helps better than a good cry (sometimes over the simplest things!) or some alone time. consider adding a daily multi-vitamin to your regime. I often lose my appetite too but find cereal helps, try to eat at least every 4 hours to maintain your blood sugar levels and this should help with stable mood. my fave is multi grain cheerios when I know I should eat but don't feel hungry. also, try sipping on water or maybe green tea throughout the day. if cramps are making you feel extra grouchy try some tylenol after a meal...maybe a cool bath...maybe a piece of chocolate :) feel better!~

*HUGS* for being on your period at the mo... It's not a cool time especially with PMS. I find 'Evening Primrose Oil' in tablet form helps me!! Take 2 daily-- it helps with mood swings and even alleviates cramping and sore boobs. Good luck!!

Welcome to PMS. Just about EVERY woman in the world gets it. Try taking a B-Complex vitamin everyday. It really helped me. Start taking it now and next month you will not feel so nutsy.
