im doing a research paper and need some ideas for it, other than what it is and alternatives. Ive got those covered already.

Damage to the environment, plant and animal life. Possible water and air pollution. Start there and go. This paper does not sound that hard. Give it some thought and think about what could happen if the toxic substance was say dumped in the ocean beds or absorbed in to the ground. Or as with industrial smoke stacks the pollution that contaminates the air.

i like the subject of labelling toxic waste for warning to future generations. 1000 years from now? what symbol would best give someone an idea that they are standing on a toxic waste site?
remember one can't assume that the population will be speaking any particular language.
