Well she is going to be 23 and it's always hard to buy her a present as christmas has just passed and she is fusy about clothes so that's that option out the window she likes to go out with her mates and likes having a laugh so if anyone has any ideas that would be great

why not just ask her what she wants or take her shopping with you, there is nothing worse than getting something you don't want or like and having to pretend its great, this way your both on to a winner

Well, it really depends on what her interests are and what your budget is.
She likes going out with friends, so maybe a gift card to a restaurant and to the theatre? Maybe a gift card to a spa for a massage? If you have a "Massage Envy" near you - their massages are very reasonable in price.
If you know of something she's really into, such as something she collects, etc. Go to EBAY and type in a search. For example, I have a friend that collects things with Cherries on them. I go to the home decor or collectibles category and type that in. Helps when you want to give the person something a little different, something that will be cherished. Good Luck!

Personally I am a big fan of gift cards, but its kinda ungeneral and sort of says you didn't know what to get her in the first place. I don't know how much you are willing to spend but I'd go for maybe a $20 necklace or bracelet.

Get her a gift certificate to a place to eat and drink. a fun one. and put enough money on it to comp a friend of hers or two. Do the same for an attraction after the movie. Good luck.

Tickets to a concert, play or movie? How about a girls' night out with her, just the two of you? Does she have a hobby? Maybe there are some things (tools, materials, etc.) related to her hobby that she might want/need.

Was there something she really wanted for Christmas and didn't get? Perhaps you could get that for her. Otherwise how about perfume or clothes vouchers for her favourite store? A spa/pamper day?
