It has been 8 wks since I had my daughter. My obgyn apt isnt until the 30th of this month. I tried to get one closer but they are booked up.
I have been having really bad cramps, almost to the piont where I am goinng to throw up. I cant eat because my stomache hurts. I am still bleeding and I have an odor coming from "there".
I thought the blood first off was suppose to get lighter and lighter untill it is gone. That never happened. It started to go away and then started getting heavy again.
I dont know what to do, can someone relate?

You need to call your caregiver and tell the nurse what is going on. Tell them about the odor and the increase in bleeding. They may try to get you in earlier if you talk to them. The odor is not a good sign. The fact that your bleeding lessened and then got heavy again is a sign that you have been overdoing it. Take it easy for a week. No lifting, etc.

I ended up with a uterine infection after my second. It was awful. If you cant get into the office just go to the ER. This kind of infection is nothing to mess with. I ended up dehydrated and had to be admitted to the hospital fir IV fluids and observation. So the bit more youll spend on an ER visit will be alot less than another hospital stay.

i would call your doctor and tell them what is going on, you shouldn't wait till the end of the month. And you do not want to make matters worse. Do you have a fever at all? That is a good sign of infection when you get one. Make sure you take care of yourself. Uterus infections can be ugly.

You should definitely go to the ER, they should have given you a paper telling you to call them if you had certain symptoms after, and they would probably tell you to go to the ER.
