If you plan on working in a prison as a civilian worker, forget it. You are a security risk. You went from having 5 felonies against you to wanting to be on the other side? I'm sure the prisoners would love having you as a corrections officer or something! Especially if you had access to the keys!

Some prisons have programs where ex-inmates help the inmates to transition back to the "world". You would need to have been violation free for some time and have worked for an organization like Friends Outside. Or you could sleep with Bill Clinton if he is ever elected again and he will "pardon" you.

As far as I know; you cannot have a career in Law Enforcement due to your felonies.
It's not exactly like drug rehab; where one can help another out.
Although you may qualify for video transcripts to help out teenagers who are in danger of going down the path that you went down.
I was the same way(thanks to a loving Grandmother) I didn't get that far.

Depending on your state, I don't think you would be eligible for a job in law enforcement.
Are you sure they are all felonies and not just misdermeanor charges?
Were you convicted on all the charges?
Were any charges dismissed?
These are some of the things you need to check out.

You could commit another felony, get thrown into prison...
..and either work the inside as a narc or you would work as the jail drug dealer.

i dont see why you couldnt. just clear your record. it also depends what state you live in. this is how it is in texas. if you had your felonies when you where a minor then when you turned seventeen they were sealed and nobody can look at them except the FBI. but anyhow. it cant hurt to try. good luck:)
