No surprise they lost. Florida played good SEC style football. Of course Ohio thought they were good, but they haven't played anybody. Most of those teams wouldn't make three weeks in the SEC. Even a mediocre SEC team like Vanderbilt could probably give them a run for their money.
Same thing with LSU and Notre Dame. If you are going to play a SEC team, you better bring it.

In 2008 OSU and USC will play each other in a home and home series with fist game being played at OSU. I'm not a osu fan I'm a die hard Michigan fan. My queastion to you is When was the last time USC palyed a top notch team on the road like OSU has in Texas. No Arkansas does not count. That would be interesting to USC go to places like Florida, Miami, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, and ohio st

Ohio State scheduled (home and home) games vs Texas which they just finished, and have also scheduled home and homes vs. USC and Virginia Tech. So they DO schedule tough non-conference games.
USC will get their chance.
Also, schedules are made 10 years in advance, so it is tough to determine who is going to be a top ten team when that game is played. USC may be USC of 10 years ago by the time OSU plays them.

FYI, Ohio State played Texas this year in non-conference play. That would be Texas, the defending National Champions who were ranked number 2 when Ohio State played them. That doesn't sound like a weak decision. As for Michigan, they played USC in the Rose Bowl-not by choice. Get your facts straight before you make idiotic comments. Thanks

well to answer your long question in a short sentence; say you ran a college, wouldn't you do every wussy, sneaky thing to get your hands on the $17 million dollars each team gets for making it to the championship game?
