OSU strategy is to play a weak nonconference team in order to go to a BCS bowl game. It is up to the head coach to decide which nonconference team to play. Obviously, big 10 team is afraid to play against USC. I bet Pete Carroll ask many times to play his team. When was the last time OSu played USC? I don't recall. Could it be OSU afraid to lose?? At least MIchigan got the balls to play USC. Therefore, I'll give mich credit although they are weak. Like Pete Carroll says all yr round " we'll play any time anywhere." Is big ten up to it? Or will they stick to their strategy and play weak conference team.

Here it is - Jim Delaney is with Michigan. He is the main obstacle of a playoffs in college football. As I mentioned before if they a have a playoffs the money is divided by the number of teams in the playoffs, not evenly, the teams that finish higher get more. Michigan and Ohio state would have never made it to the top in a playoff situation. Therefore, The "Little" Ten conference losses out on millions. Delaney would not let that happen. That conference will keep playing the teams they have to preserve the "myth" that they are strong.

Sorry, boys and girls, no playoffs in college football for a while!

Fight On!!!!

It is all about money and the perfect OOC record. tOSU can fill their stadium playing Buffalo or Div I-AA teams and get automatic W. With those weak teams, they don't have to give up return games, which is necessary when drawing bigger names such as USC. And why would they play USC where they don't get money and risk a losing record going into conference play? Big 10 non conference play is just like the SEC, they stay at home and play easy teams. SOS should count toward rankings.

No Arkansas does no longer count huge form. that must be interesting to USC circulate to places like Florida, Miami, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, and ohio st
