One of my good friends from high school dated a 27 year old when she was 18. She was very mature for her age and now they've been together for four years and they are currently engaged and planning their life together. Sometimes age is nothing but a number. In your case your relationship is legal, so you shouldn't worry as long as you all are together for the right reasons.

27 and 19 is no age difference, most girls are much more mature at the age of 19 than any man. Sorry but it is true. As long as she feels the same about you enjoy yourselves.

The age of consent in Great Britian is 16......its 17 in Northern Ireland so there is no common age of consent in the UK.
Cant see a problem with it!

The age difference between the man and the woman ought to be that of a 'minimum' of 10 years, where the undoubted maturity and superiority of the male can be seen for what it is over the inferior female who is in need of his care and protection.

The laws say it's ok, but I think it's kinda weird. Think about this though, Why would a guy want to hang out with a teenager that he can't go to clubs or bars with. If his girl can't get into the places that he can, theres no one to keep eyes on him. He's free to cheat, plus he'll be drunk on top of it which will make mor likely to cheat. So he has his girl at home, and nothing stopping him from having all the girls he wants when she's not looking. Best of both worlds... Be careful of older guys that are into teenagers. My experiance is that their really jerks that put on a nice face.

I think if a 27 yr old man and a 19 yr old woman are interested in each other, either the 19 yr old is extremely mature or the 27 yr old is extremely immature.

Yes! There was 19 years difference between my aunt and uncle. They got married, had 2 kids and had one of the most wonderful relationships ever.

Sure why not? My Mother was 19 and my Dad wad 29 when they were married. They were soul mates. !9 is of legal age.
