Their quarterback...

I am going to say no for many reasons. First, the SEC is sooo tough that I'm not sure even LSU can avoid a loss, especially with the championship game. Florida pushed them to the last second, and there are many other good teams there. And even if they do go through this long stretch I don't know if they can survive another game. Look at OSU last year how everyone wanted to hand them the title and they lost. Could happen again if they get there. Second, Ohio State is not going to e the Big Ten champion, they may end up begin a co-champ, but there will be two or even three teams with one loss. And they will be hurt by the lack of a championship, where they could make up a spot or two at the end (but that's another topic). But I still think they can get through riding their D. Therefore, I would have to look at Oklahoma because they have by far the easiest schedule left and OSU in the National Title game. With an OU win.

Nothing happened to them. They gave it all they had. The simple fact is that they are not nearly as good a team as Florida. Ohio State being the best team in the country was a complete joke. They played their first real team of the year and got their asses handed to them.

I feel saddened that Troy feels like he let everyone down (including the Big Ten) but he should be proud of himself. Whom else can say they had the highest number of votes for the Heisman? He broke school records, he influenced many young people and took the defeat like the gentleman he is. Like he said, if losing the game was the worst thing that happens in their lives, then they're cool. He's right. There's so many other things that can hinder us in our lives, but if losing ONE football game in a season is the worst, then I'll take the loss. I'm a die-hard Buckeye fan so I am feeling the gloominess across our fair state, and not even the fact that we beat Michigan can comfort us today, but as the late, great Woody Hayes said..."I don't live in the past. I'm a student of the past, and I try to learn from the past, although some people will say, 'You haven't done a very good job of it.' But for me to live in the past? Hell, no.'"
Looking Forward to 2007 season...GO BUCKS!

I am not making excuses for them but who in the world waits 51 days to play a Championship game? They were off 20 more days than any of the other teams.Big difference. And the Buckeyes are a very good team! You don't go undefeated all year long and and not be a good team.Troy Smith was terrible .He didn't even look like a Heisman Trophy winner. He looked like a pee-wee footballer.TERRIBLE!!!I could go on but I am getting depressed!!(LOL)

Well, Lothario, the team that whooped your Longhorn asses earlier this year, is who he's referring to.

But, what happened, is Ohio State choked. Florida played great, and we were unprepared and played the worst football we've played in years.

We sucked. They played well. We choked. They thrived under the pressure.

Bummer, but true!

They played someone from the toughest conference in the country, the SEC. I'm not a fan of Florida, but i wanted them to show what the SEC can do to other teams who don't play anyone all year.

Florida happened.

Is it possible that Ohio State just wasn't as good as everyone thought?
