You can remove dad now that the babies are freeswimming, and start offering them small amounts of live bbs / infusoria, using an eyedropper. They will not swim very much at this stage in life because they need to conserve their energy. They will be more active when they start hunting and feeding.

You also need to remove dad for his sake; he may not have eaten for the past week and is probaby hungry and tired.

So, offer them some nummers and give dad some TLC. Congratulations on the fry :)

The fry are free swimming so I would take dad out and start to feed them.

Try feeding them. the father will help them until he realizes they are "on their own" But that depends on the type of fish. Some species fathers will blow food into a nest to get the fry to eat. It won't hurt feeding them.

separate the dad and let him get some relaxation. feed the fry either newly hatched brine shrimp of a very fine well crushed flake food. or you can go to a pet store and get fry food. its like a powder
