Face it sometimes we welcome these distractions even though we won't admit it. I have to say "self...get your lazy butt up and get busy"! I am a procrastinator!

Lazy is a not a nice word.
Never describe yourself in negative terms. My mother used to say, which she now denies, "if you don't ring your own bell on one else will".
We are similar people. I am easily distracted. But...what was that...oh yea...I am easily distracted...don't make fun of the ADD. Which I am.
Making lists are great. Shut the television and music off. You need to reinforce your self with positive things and people. You are not lazy just distracted....get over it.
Make a point of "not" starting a project until the other is complete.
Be positive. One step at a time....Good Luck!!

I'm a lazy one myself when it comes to doing homework and studying. I have created a plan for myself where I use Saturday mornings after breakfast to do my homework and study so that way I don't have to think about it during the week when I get out of work. It has worked for me so far because I think of it as going to work like any other day except it's not actually my day job. I also notice that I focus a lot better when I do it in the morning. Try this for the coming Saturday and see if it helps. Also remember, once you get in the habit of doing it the same way, you don't even think about it and before you know it your work is done. Goodluck!

If you're talking about on the job well you need to realize that your distractions are costing your employer money and he/she may be tempted to let you go or if you are talking about work around your home just plan each day to do a bit of this or a bit of that.Don't pile your daily tasks too high because you might realize that trying to get too many things done one time is too much for you.Take it step by step, the important thing is making an effort at all!!!!

Your not being lazy you just can't concentrate on one thing at a time. So you have to plan your day. Make a schedule that you can follow. (Today i will do this and tomorrow i will do that)... remove everything that you know will distract you. Organize your life.

Hire a friend for $10 to stand around behind you and whenever you begin to dose he can slap you on the back of the head and say WAKE UP LAZY! This will eventually condition you through classical psychological conditioning to stop drifting off.

Go back to when you started being lazy. What happened? Examine why you lost it and got lazy. What burned out for you?
Fear of failure maybe, rather than laziness? Too sensitive to try and fail? I mean, it's okay. There's room for us all in the world.
You will finish what you think you CAN!! When was the last time you felt good about yourself? The answers are inside you.
