Help!! My 30th bday is coming and as one of the youngest in my circle, everyone has already done the 30th party to death. I am looking for a special way to celebrate without going bankrupt. Also there are many conflicts between people in my family who all "have" to be invited if a traditional party is done, including my brother and myself not getting along great right now and his ex-wife now his girlfriend and I do not get along at all. I would feel bad excluding him though, (even though he oppted out of celebrating x-mas with me and my family) I need help to make it special. Also my husband is just recently home from Iraq and has missed my last 3 bdays between being there and being in training. I also have a 6 year old and a 4 yearold that I would like to celebrate with, even if a seperate celebration. UUGGGGHHH!!!! I am so lost, any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks a bunch!

I know this isn't what you want but I got pregnant with twins near my 30th birthday. They were born 2 weeks before my husbands 40th birthday.

i don't know. you could try going out to dinner with family or having a birthday party

if he's just returned, a special one would be to just spending time with your own family along. like with him and 2 kids. do something with them special so you won't have to worry about your brother. be an intimate one so you two and your children won't forget. happy birthday!
