Because he promises to grow up to a big man, there is nothing wrong with it, on the contrary you should be happy that he is so well developed.

Sweety dont swaet the small stuff! I have a son that is now 4 1/2 and he looks like he's 6. He wears 6-7 in pants & 7-8 in shirts, & size 11-12 toddlers shoes. He is 47 lbs. and 4' tall. Very tall, & slim. Might I add that when he was born he was 10 lbs. 7oz. and 23" tall. (Emergency C-section as I am only 5'6 & 135 lbs. But dad is 6'4 & 190 lbs.) When he was born at the hospital he was the size of a 3 month old, all the nurses & doctors told me! So, its all in the genes of the family!
Dont worry, who cares what others think! If you let it bother you, it could affect how he see's himself someday! And I'm sure he's just PERFECT & AMAZING!!!
P.S. This son rolled off the couch at 3 weeks old. Which I cried for days about & my mother reminded me... how many 3 week olds do you know can do anything!? He's one amazing baby already, and enjoy it while you can... which I have and do still daily!

All babies are different. Most of the "guidelines" for what a child can do at a certain age is just a guideline. I have 6 kids and I don't think my kids have been right on with any guidelines at all. Raised and fed all my kids the same food but different outcomes with each one.
In fact, my tiniest child started pulling up at 4 1/2 months old and was walking by 8 months old, climbing up stairs at 10 months old and running by a year old. And she was the littlest thing you ever saw lol. The earliest one of mine crawled was 4 1/2 mo and the latest was 6 months old. So, a big difference with the same foods and parenting.
It is amazing how different kids can be and what they can do. Congrats on having a great little boy!!!

all babies are different my first is in the 24th percentile still at almost 4 but my 1 1/2 yr old is in the 82nd percentile. Just think what a good job you are doing raising a big and healthy baby. Just imagine if he was small and puny like my daughter and everone telling you she is too skinny and idf she eats enough. My dauighter eats more than most children her age, and drinks 3 pediasures a day(very expensive). But the doc says she is 100% percent healthy and is growing fine but i always hear it from the family that i must not be feeding her right.

Whe my daughter was born she weighed 12 pound she was the size of a 3 or 4 month old, all babies are different, he's probably just a big boy and can do things faster than normal because he is large, i'm not a doctor though if you are truly concerned get it checked out

Your son sounds like my daughter! SHe is only 2 months and ppl are anazed to hear that. They think she is like 4 months old. Her development is a lot pass her age to! Not to worry, babys all grow at different paces! My daughter is 12 lbs 5 oz! She is 24 1/4 inches long. lol

Babies come in all different sizes just like adults. Some people just have no tact when they open their mouths. My oldest son was born with these really broad linebacker shoulders (just like his father) and people used to do the same thing to me. If the doctor says your son is healthy and you know as his mother that he's beautiful and happy than take pride in that. You're doing great.
