most hits in a game? 9 by Johnny Burnett (Looks pretty unbreakable....9 hits is a lot)
most home runs in a game? 4 (most recently by Carlos Delgado in 2003 but several have done it) (Any of the big guys if they get lucky?)
most walks in a game? 6 by Jimmie Foxx & Walt Wilmot (When guys start pitching around Pujols like they did Bonds...ya never know)
most HBP in a game? 3 by several players (the record for most in one inning is 2 by Brady Anderson, Willard Schmidt, Frank Thomas and Andres Gallaraga.) (If a team hated a guy enough, it could be broken....haha)
most errors in a game?- 9 by 2B Andy Leonard (probably won't be broken because managers nowadays would take a guy out around three or four...let alone 8 or 9)
most grand slams in a game? 2 Fernando Tatis hit two in the same inning April 23, 1999 (not sure, 3 grand slams in one game is a very large feat)
most RBIs in a game? 12 by Jim Bottomley & Mark Whiten (it could be broken if an extra inning game lasted....Pujols? Howard?)
most runs in a game? 6 by several players...Mel Ott had six runs in two different games. (it really could be anybody if an extra inning game dragged out long enough....Reyes? Soriano? Beltran?)
most innings pitched in a game while having a no hitter?- 10 innings by Jim Maloney, Fred Toney, & George Wiltse (Santana? Zambrano?....both guys have seemed lights out on occasion)
most innings pitched in a game while having a shutout?- 18 innings by Walter Johnson, Ed Summers, Carl Hubbell, & John Ward (NEVER WILL BE BROKEN...guys don't pitch 18 innings anymore)
most stolen bases in a game? 7 by George Gore and Billy Hamilton (Reyes? Carl Crawford?)
most home runs in a season without including steroid users?- looks like it may still be Maris's 61 in 1961 (As long as Bonds-73, McGwire- 70, Sosa- 66, McGwire- 65, Sosa-64, and Sosa-63 are illegitamate) (Howard? Pujols? Soriano?)
most RBIs in a season without including steroid users?- Hack WIlson (Cubs) in 1930 with 191 (this one has stood for a long time...most likely will stand for a while, but Pujols? Howard?)
most stolen bases in a season?- Rickey Henderson with 130 in 1982 for Oakland (Probably will stand for a while, but someone like Jose Reyes? and Carl Crawford?)
most runs in a season?- Billy Hamilton with Philadelphia in 198 in 1894 (I guess if you told me this record would be broken next season, you would go with a guy like Jose Reyes or Chase Utley, high OBP guys on teams with big sluggers in the middle of the lineup)
lowest official era in a season?- Tim Keefe had the lowest ERA of .86 in 1880. (Probably unbreakable in today's game....more runs)
most wins in a season?- Old Hoss Radborn had 59 in 1884 (unbreakable considering nobody's even started that many games in a LONG time)
