Were they really trying to have the greatest game ever... Top the Boise game... but then in 4th quarter they forgot to comeback????
OR did the Gators just KICK the living POOP out of them??? Cause I know that game was about boring.

It's simple. The Gators left NO ROOM for questions or doubts. Routing a team is a sure-fire way to silence the Nay sayers.
If this game had been a nailbiter, overtime, etc... Then the Michigan fans would continue talking about how Florida didn't deserver to be there, and OSU would say that Florida got lucky.
Florida proved that they match-up very well with OSU, but OSU did NOT match-up very well with the Gators.

I agree with your latter "poop-kicking" assessment. They were done at halftime when they panicked on that 4th and 1 on their OWN 29 when all they had to do was punt and get out of there down 10 and think things trough a bit better. But Florida not only whipped them with their speed, they got INSIDE THEIR HEADS. You could tell by the lethargic play of their defense.

somewhat i saw that they were trying for a comback but the offensive line gave up so troy smith had to scramble all the time and with florida's speed, they got smith pretty good
