The difference between a good friend and a great friend is being there through the good times and the bad. Listening to each other and not just hearing. Telling your friend if you don't agree with them, or you think they have done something wrong.

But more than anything a great friend is someone who accepts you just as you are... warts and all.

A great friend is one that accepting what you are, is telling you what s/he real thinks. It means no matter if s/he does not think the same way you do, but still he respects and stands for you. The difference between a good friend and a great friend is you can tell everything about you to a great friend and stay calm, knowing your secret will remain as it.

I have heard that a good friend will bail you out of jail but a great friend would be sitting besides you saying boy that was fun.
