Brent,
Ohio State's defense got exposed...and their offense was off-balance. When Florida's lead started increasing, you could sense the desperation and frustration with OSU trying to figure out the Gator defense.
It is not fair to bash the Big-10 because look at how many Nat'l championships OSU and Michigan have won combined?
Degrading the Big-10 would only tarnish the Gator win. It's more fulfilling to know that the Gators won against a high-powered, very very good representative of the Big-10 in OSU.
BTW, diggity is a sore-loser. Eat a slice of humble pie there buddy....it tastes good. The Gators had to eat humble pie in 1995, Miami Hurricanes had to eat humble pie in 2002, now it's your turn diggity....now now.....there there.....you can stop crying now.....it's over.

Exposed--no way. Let's be honest--if they played 5 times OSU would win 3 or 4. Another flaw in that is the big ten was 2-1 vs. the SEC. The fact is the top five best teams in the country are Florida LSU Wisconsin OSU and USC. -that is 2 sec teams and 2 big ten teams and 1 pac ten! Add one more ... and you have an excellent playoff scenario. Nonetheless, I disagree. Florida is the nat'l champions and deservedly so but if OSU played them again they would win. Tressel was outcoached and his players were outplayed--that doesnt mean the SEC is superior or the big 10 was exposed. I might agree if PSU didnt win vs. Tenn or the Badgers haven't smoked both SEC teams they played the last 2 years...

Diggitty, LAY THE CRACK PIPE DOWN! Your boys would get absolutely hammered by the SEC if they played them with any regularity. OSU'S fatal mistake last night was getting away from their success (running the ball against overmatched D-lines) and panicking on that stupid 4th and 1 at their OWN 29 with 3:29 to go in the half when they were down by 10 points! Had they punted that ball and reorganized a bit during the half, it might've been a better game. But when Florida tacked on that field goal, it was only a moral victory for OSU, for the air was leaking from their balloon.

Please explain how the outcome of one game can definatively prove so sweeping a generalization.
Florida won that game, and they deserved to win it. The Buckeyes came into the game with the same gameplan they used all year, and over-confidence led them to believe that it would work one more time. On the other hand, Florida made a tactical analysis of Ohio's game, figured out where their weak spots were (holes in the zone defense, how to neutralize the offensive line, etc), and exploited them. That's how games are won. Football isn't a measure of how big your thing is, no matter how much you want it to be.

Most analyst were saying no teams desered to play in championsip game except michigan and ohio state. both of them looked like second tier teams in their bowls. OSU would not have even won the game against Miami w/o officials horrible pass interferance call(which is hard for me to say since i hate Miami).

lol we are realizing that if we played Florida 20 more times, we would lose 20 more times. We are seeing how important Tedd ginn is to our offense, but still that we would have lost with him. We are seeing that its amazing how underrated of a coach Meyer is, and that we are glad there isnt a playoff, because we wouldnt of won it. The bucks broke my heart last night, but i am happy for the Gators
