I bought a pair of elbow length, lacy wool fingerless gloves. Their a light brown color. I have no idea what to wear them with.. a long sleeve shirt would cover them, but if I'm wearing a tee shirt, whats the point of wearing wool gloves? What do most people do?

t-shirts and jeans or skirt. the point of wearing fingerless gloves isn't to keep yourself warm. it's all about fashion. short sleeved shirts are perfect.

First of all you need to ask yourself why you even bought the gloves in the first place. The only reason you bought them (and I am sure of this) is because they looked good. You didn't buy them to keep your fingers warm.
Okay now if you are wearing long gloves like that only thing you could wear them with would be a dress. Hope you have a formal event coming up :-) but I can't think of any color dress that would go with a light brown color.
Another option would well, simply make you look like a prostitute. You could wear a skirt, BROWN boots and a tank top (but then you would just look like a whore)
Short Sleeve would not look good because, well that is weird. And yeah your right, whats the point in wearing them if you have on a long sleeve shirt to cover up those woderful gloves of yours.

elbow lenght lacy gloves- no other option but to go tube top (strapless), on the other hand, its also cool w/ halter top!
you would look really.... (colors & fabric would matter a lot, so here's your guide:)
nice - if in pink!
great - in white!
safe & sexy - black
hot! - if red

hmm.... maybe a short sleeves button up shirt? or somehting classy? maybe with a little puff in the sleeve.
tight jeans and calf or knee high stiletoes?
I think that would maybe look nice? or just whatever you feel like wearing?

wear a cute baby t that machtes them... or even though u were a long sleeve wear the gloves over... to still show em.
