Seriously like. People's liberty is at stake..... Sounds like some of these, 'experts' are the ones needing committed and zapped with electric shock 'therapy'. See how 'therapeutic' they find it.

i agree, some of the worlds greatest minds of the past always seemed to have other mental or physical problems. But today if they have a problem and come up with something that seems ridiculous we throw it to the side because we think they're just crazy. How many world changing ideas have we thrown away simply because the person was mentally or physically handicapped in some way?

I'm not defending our current system, but Joan of Arc was burned at the stake for heresy... we're not doing that.

Once upon a time that might have been true, but now you have to be SERIOUSLY deranged to be locked up. That's why we have so many homeless on the street. Once upon a time many would have been in mental institutions.
