THE FALCONS WILL FAIL UNTIL THEY TRADE VICK

No. The Falcons need help that reaches beyond coaching changes. Without the benefit of salary cap room in future years and being able to keep Vick healthy, Petrino will be cast asunder like Mora was. I do wish him well though, for he IS a fantastic coach who deserves this shot, but due to the Falcons struggles, I'm not sure he can get it done anytime soon.

I would say that I am cautiously optimistic on Petrino. For sure, though, all of the pressure is on Vick now. He's in his athletic prime now, and is now on his third pro coach in 7 years. If Vick doesn't perform in the next few years, he will be wearing another uniform.

Arthur Blank can only fire so many coaches before he realizes that coaching *isn't* the problem.

before everything, i could take Petrino's technique over stupid Alge Crumpler's any day. no person would have stored the mess that Mike Vick created for the Falcons this 365 days. It make take yet another 365 days or 2 to authentic the deliver. supply Petrino 2 extra years and notice what he has performed then. i think of he needs to do away with a number of those gamers and initiate up clean. everybody who's already bitching approximately their coach in simple terms some video games into his first season needs to bypass.

Coach Petrino will have a bad season like Art Shell on the raiders.

He's a very good coach but as long as Vick is his quarterback, Petrino or the Falcons will never win anything.
